In the inflation report, it was stated that the prices of 19 items rose in a week, while the prices of 9 items fell. While the prices of 23 basic products remained stable in a week. According to the report, prices of 19 items, including tomatoes, chicken, eggs, onions, sugar and pulses, have increased in the past week. The price of tomato increased by 16.04%, chicken by 13.98%, eggs per dozen by 3.20%, dal mong by 1.68%, gram dal by 2.12% and sugar by 2.04% , LPG 1.19% and firewood 0.51%.

Similarly, the price of potatoes fell by 8.68% in a week, tea by 1.29%, cooking oil, vegetable ghee by 0.54%, washing soup by 0.47%, dal puree by 0.36% and flour 0.23%. . On the other hand, according to media reports, following government instructions, Utility Stores Corporation has reduced the prices of branded ghee and cooking oil by Rs 10 per kg in utility stores across the country. A price reduction notification for ghee and cooking oil has also been issued. According to the notification, the new price of brand ghee has been fixed at Rs 486 and the price of cooking oil has been fixed at Rs 579. The new prices will be effective immediately at utility stores nationwide.
