Bail approved in 3 Imran Khan cases and 2 Shah Mehmood Qureshi cases

Islamabad (Urdu Point Latest News. December 11, 2023) Bail has been approved in 3 cases of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan and in 2 cases of PTI Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi. According to details, the Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court has accepted bail pleas in 3 hooliganism cases of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and 2 cases of former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. During the hearing, prosecutor Raja Naveed and PTI lawyers Sardar Bhagzi and Khalid Yusuf appeared before the court.

On this occasion, public prosecutor Raja Naveed told the court that PTI leaders had deliberately organized the protest, Imran Khan had misled people and tried to create agitation and Pakistan Tehreek-e leaders -Insaaf benefited from unnecessary leniency. The bails of Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Imran Khan should be rejected.

The judge asked the prosecutor that “Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Imran Khan were not present at that time”? To which prosecutor Raja Naveed replied: “No! Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Imran Khan were not present at the scene, Justice Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain said the bails of the other co-accused were upheld.

In addition to this, ATC judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain accepted the bail bonds of PTI leader Imran Khan and PTI vice-president Shah Mehmood Qureshi in exchange for Rs 30,30,000. Leader Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi were released on bail.
