The father of a girl who was allegedly murdered in Karachi has claimed that the girl was under mental stress as she was sleeping.

KARACHI: The body of a woman who was allegedly tortured and murdered was found in a house in Korangi Mehran town. The woman's body was privately shifted to Jinnah Hospital for legal formalities. Speaking to mediapersons at Jinnah Hospital, her father said he loved his daughter very much and had bought her new clothes and fruits for her.

He left home to go to his girlfriend's house, but on the way he was informed that his daughter was hospitalized at Jinnah Hospital. When we reached Jinnah Hospital, we saw the body of her daughter lying there. Her daughter's age was 19-20 years old. She announced that the girl was married among her distant relatives, but the marriage was seven months old. Her daughter's mother-in-law had been giving alms for her child since the beginning, and she was under mental stress.

She spoke to her daughter on Saturday evening and her daughter was fine, but in the morning her phone was disconnected and there was no response from her in-laws. The girl often complained to her mother about the violence of her mother-in-law and her husband. Her daughter appears to have died from severe mental stress and violence from her mother-in-law and her husband. The deceased woman's husband, Salim, said he came home from work at noon Saturday night and had dinner with his wife. After that, we watched TV until 2:30 a.m but after 2:30 a.m my wife turned off the TV and went to sleep. She held it and fell asleep again.
