LAHORE: Mari Petroleum has announced the discovery of new gas reserves in the country.

According to details, Mari Petroleum said in a statement that new gas reserves have been discovered in North Waziristan, initially producing 600,000 cubic feet of gas per day and the gas reserves will increase.

Notice that Mari Petroleum is Pakistan's leading integrated exploration and production company, with net hydrocarbon production exceeding 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. With a market share of 23%, we are Pakistan's second largest gas producer and have a strong reserve base of approximately 642 million BOE.

Located in the Ghotki district of Sindh, Pakistan, it was commissioned in 1967 and after more than 50 years of production, it is the largest gas field in terms of remaining reserves.
