Association reported a rise in the domestic market prices of gold and silver.
The cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold surged by Rs1600, reaching Rs221,300.
Similarly, the price of each tola and 10 grams of silver experienced a boost of
Rs1372, reaching Rs189,729.
Simultaneously, the international market
witnessed a $12 increase in the price of gold, reaching $2094. At 0757 GMT,
spot gold exhibited a 0.6% rise, reaching US$2,074.01 per ounce, while US gold
futures also saw a 0.6% gain, reaching US$2,083.00 per ounce.
In other commodities, spot silver
observed a 1% increase, reaching US$24.04, while palladium edged up by 0.2% to
US$1,100.90 per ounce. However, platinum experienced a slight decrease of 0.2%,
reaching US$985.79.
