KARACHI:  Iran's second largest airline has started operations in Pakistan. According to media reports, the first flight of Iranian company Turban Air took off today from Karachi to Mashhad and the inaugural flight was inaugurated and inaugurated by Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori. Aviation officials say foreign airlines operating flights to Pakistan will create new employment opportunities.

Tavan Air will be the second airline to start operating flights to Pakistan after Iran Air. More than 80 passengers left on the first flight, including the governor of Sindh. Tavan Air will initially operate one flight per week, and plans to increase the number of flights in the future. Tavan Air flights from Karachi to Mashhad depart every Tuesday at 11:00 p.m. and from Mashhad to Karachi at 6:00 p.m. Iranian time.

The first flight of Iranian airline Turban Air took place at Karachi Airport, with special guests of Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori and Iranian Consul General, as well as a cake cutting ceremony. Officials from Civil Aviation and ASF were also present on this occasion.
