As the caretaker
Punjab government has developed an online facility for obtaining a driving
learner’s license. The decision was taken to improve public convenience and simplify
the licensing process, especially considering the overpowering number of people
applying for licenses.
Caretaker Chief
Minister of Pakistan Mohsin Naqvi developed the online facility on Sunday. In a
statement he wrote that citizens can apply online through Punjab Police app, other
service is also available at 737 police stations and all Khidmat Marakiz across
Punjab.
How to Apply for a Learner’s License Online (DIMS)
- Create/open an
account on the official website by clicking this Online Learner
License it will open DIMS official website.
- Complete fill the
application form.
- Upload latest documents.
- Generate
payment slip, pay through ATM, online banking, or mobile banking channels.

- Applicant’s
picture.
- Scanned
copy/picture of original CNIC’s (front and back).
- Applicant above
50 years can provided a medical certificate signed by a government doctor.

earlier that, the provincial cabinet had approved a massive hike in learner’s
driving license fees. The fee has been increased from Rs. 60 to Rs. 1000. The
updated fees will be approved after 31 December 2023. On January revised fee
schedule will be ratify
