World passports rankings 2024
Global passport index has issued new ranking of world passports. ranking stands from most powerful to weakest one
There is great shuffle in the recent rankings as the passport of United Arab Emirates emerged as the worlds strongest passport with visa free travel to to 180 countries among which 132 are visa free and 48 countries offered on arrival visa, while the requirement of prior visa is for 18 countries only
France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Netherlands together shared the 2nd no of the strongest passport hold with visa free entry to almost 178 countries
The ranking of Japanese passport has declined to no 6 sharing its ranking with United States, New Zealand, Slovakia and Singapore with visa free entry to almost 174 countries
Syrian passport is the weakest in the world at a ranking of 96 with visa free travel to 40 countries,
while Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia lying at 95,94,93 respectively
Pakistan is the only Nuclear power country with the least ranking coming just above the passport of Somalia at no 92 with visa free travel of almost 47 countries
