ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan may rule today (Saturday) on whether the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf should be given the election symbol 'bat' .
Hamid Khan is expected to argue until the Election Commission and lawyer Akbar S. Babar finish their arguments, and the Supreme Court is expected to hold its first hearing on the election issue on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has issued an order regarding the hearing to be held on Friday and the Election Commission has reportedly appealed against the order of the Shawar High Court. The court also ordered the Additional Chief Justice to appear before the general elections.
