LAHORE: Vice-captain Muhammad Rizwan achieved a unique feat in the second T20 match against New Zealand. National team vice-captain Mohammad Rizwan achieved the distinction of hitting 77 sixes for Pakistan in the T20 format, surpassing previous captains Mohammad Hafeez and Shahid Afridi.
He scored 7 runs in the second game.
In the first T20 match against the Kiwis, Rizwan played 25 runs in 14 balls with the help of two fours and two sixes. Among the top five players who have hit most sixes in Pakistan's T20 format, Mohammad Hafeez is second with 76 sixes, Shahid Afridi is third with 73 sixes and Shoaib Malik is fourth with 69 sixes. Umar Akmal took fifth place with 55 sixes.
