Earthquake of magnitude 6 hits Punjab and Pakhtankhwa provinces, including Islamabad at 2:15 pm aftenoon.

The earthquake was felt in various cities across the country, including the federal capital Islamabad and Peshawar.

The earthquake was also felt in Kohat, Sargodha, Abbottabad and other cities. The earthquake was also felt in Kushab and Charsada.

Apart from this, the earthquake was also felt in DI Khan, Bannu, Hangu, Diamer, Para Chinar, Mandi Bahauddin, Bakar, Nowshera, Muzaffarabad, Wadi Neelam Azad Kashmir and in Sheikhupura, Pakpattan and Gujranwala.

According to the Earthquake Center, the quake had a magnitude of 6 and its epic center was in Afghanistan's Hindu Kush Mountains.

The earthquake forced many people to leave their homes and workplaces, but no loss of life or property has yet been reported.
